Best vegan burgers in quebec city!! Generous portions, great prices, and seriously the flavors were awesome. Definitely dont miss out on this!

The place is good, ambience is cosy and the waitresses deliver basic orders appropriately. My gripe is with the food, it is quite expensive for the portion size and taste, see pictures.

Best poutine ever, now I'm a fan

Menu and waiters in English, food and atmosphere outstanding.

Chez Victor is a gourmet hamburger restaurant in a quaint area of Quebec City (they have other locations within the city). The atmosphere there is quite modern and the initial small dining area near the entrance gives the restaurant a cozy feel to it. There's plenty of seating available, so it is good for big groups. We were seated quickly and served by a very nice server who responded well to casual conversation. The food itself was delicious and the wait was not too long. Chez Victor even offers vegan options. I had their poutine, which I really enjoyed because the cheese curds and fries tasted a lot better than the ones I've had in other poutines. I would recommend getting their burgers nonetheless, as their poutine is not all that extraordinary. The portions for the burgers weren't overhwelming, even though they came with fries. Chez Victor also offers a dessert menu of cakes and pies, including vegan options. They are a great way to finish off a great meal!

Nice selection of vegetarian burgers. Very creative recipes. They also have vegetarian poutine that is pretty good. Menu is limited. The fries are double fried so if you don’t like it avoid. It is an acquired taste.

Very good restaurant, a lot of vegetarian and vegan options, good quality is amazing, locally grown and eco friendly. Thank you Victor for this meal, we'll definitely come back next time we go to Quebec City

It'll be a very good experience if you like burgers, staff are really friendly and they provide English menu. So it will be really good for people who don't speak French.

Burgers (chicken and beef) were overcooked, entrees were underwhelming. Stark contrast in quality when compared to other locations.

Ok. Good burgers - fresh lettuce and tomatoes, crispy pickles, well-cooked bacon and tasty patty but a bit pricey really for what it is, and service was really just ok. Original selection of gourmet burgers. French fries are boff , . Very tiny terrasse , but great place on Rue St-Jean (rue passante quand même par contre) , près du centre ville. Service ok.

Actual choices for vegetarians and vegans! Side portions are huge. I got a side salad and it was much more than I expected. Prices are reasonable for the quality. Below is my vegan burger. Highly recommend!

If you want a delicious burger, that's has organic, vegan ingridents, this is the place too be. The food here was unreal, a really, really good burger. It's hard to describe but believe me you don't wanna Miss out.

One of the best burgers I’ve had. Can taste the care they put into Preparing the meal. Although quite busy, the service was really slow. The waitress did so her best as she was the only one working as it seemed.

Fast, friendly service from a bilingual staff. A wide variety of burgers to meet diverse dietary needs. Vegan and vegetarian friendly. A cozy patio makes for a great place for a date. Would recommend!

Was SO tasty! Split the duck in a steamed bun and a AAA Angus beef burger. Was able to sub fries for a salad. Everything was super fresh. It was perfection ! Will eat here everytime I come to town now, so happy I found it! There aren't many reasonably priced (non-tourist), fresh, good grub places in the city. Owner was very pleasant, friendly. Entire place was nice and clean. Must try!

Cosy restaurant with friendly staff and excellent food.The BBQ poutine was fantastic, we also had the goats cheese and hazelnut salad which was excellent.A fine selection of drinks is on offer including a good variety of local beers.

Late lunch stop at 2:00 p.m. while travelling through Québec led our vegan/vegetarian family to this delightful restaurant that has a few vegan/vegetarian items that included an excellent bean/nut burger with a tasty poppy seed bun, a real green salad and fries. Dressing on the side. East Indian vegan burger with vegan cheese went down well and veg burger and a veg pontine was totally devoured by the young man with a big appetite! Service was second to none. Will stop here again. Merci beaucoup!

Came in a bit late and the waiter didn't come to check what I wanted to order, waited 15 minutes before giving up and simply made my order at the counter. Food wise, the burger was delicious and extremely enjoyable.Would I go back if I was in Quebec? absolutely. But I would probably make sure to ask them to come back to get my order in 5 minutes.

Incredibly delicious vegan burger. Staff was incredibly kind and had English menus available for the French challenged among us. Service was incredibly quick!

Had poutine with bbq sauce and buffalo chicken. Awesome treat for your appetites. Cost around $14 which is fair as compared to the serving size. Mediterranean chicken burger was also good and beef petty was fresh. Would love to go and try something g else again. 5 stars

Was impressed with the vegan/vegetarian options on the menu. The vegan poutine was amazing. However, the tofu burger was not as good as I was expecting. Also, service is not good at all, waited so long to just get our menus. Then we asked for our leftovers to-go and the waitress took them and never came back.

Small cozy but good food good price..

Edit: changed 5 stars to 4 because of my second visit to this location I asked for a lentil burger and they gave me a meat burger. My first time eating here and I was very impressed by the lentil burger. It was one of the best veggie burgers I have ever had and I have eaten A LOT of veggies burgers (all over the U.S. and Canada).

Great variety of burgers and poutines. A burger of the week every week of the year. The quality/price is awesome ! A must in Quebec City for burgers. Each branch got a few unique burgers and signature poutines. Good choice of regional beers. If you are still up, good desserts and a mention to the good coffees/teas. **Place to hit during poutine/burger weeks**

I give this place credit for having 3 vegan burgers. They obviously out a lot of time into thinking of the flavor combinations. I just wish there was more of a simple veggie burger with REAL cheese. (IE vegetarian not vegan). Some of the new meat substitutes are really good and delicious. The staff were really nice and the service was fast. Chez Victor is also in a less touristy part of town - definitely points for me!

Worst restaurant in my life. We arrived the place at 19 10 and we ordered 2 burguers at 19 15. We had to leave the place at 20 50 without dinner. At 20 10 they told us they were ready in five minutes. Incredible. Awful experience

Delicious burgers, amazing service and a comfortable patio for a great time!You have a choice to substitute fries into a full salad, or even half salad half fries! Wide variety of selection from beef patties, to chicken, to salmon to even duck!!Amazing experience to enjoy such a good meal with a beer alongside your gourmet meal!

I came down there looking for litteraly anything to eat after spending more than a day traveling to get to Québec. The waitress was really friendly, let me chose where I wanted to seat, and took great care. Good burger choices for both meat eater and vegetarian, and it helps that the products seem to be fresh. Extensive choice of Mayonnaise and condiments to go with your fries, and overall the place has a nice, retro yet cosy vibe to it with all the stone walls. The burger are a bit pricey and the waitress forgot to give me the price for today's special, but it was still worth it anyway.

Wow! Just wow! Fantastic burgers! Each one we took was special and interesting and perfectly combined with the toppings.Sides were very large- I exchanged my fries for a salad which was huge and fresh- I recommend the raspberry-maple syrup dressing.Excellent service and nice ambience, and fairly priced.
